In addition to the other options available to our community to register a complaint or commend an officer, CSU Police Department now accepts both through online. Commendations are sent to the officer’s chain of command so that both the officer and his/her supervisors are notified, and the commendation is placed in the officer’s personnel record. All complaints are assigned to the officer’s chain of command or Professional Standards investigator for review. Please note that should you choose to register a complaint online that it will still be necessary for an officer to contact you at a convenient time in order to complete the review.
