The CSU Police Department Records Office produces and maintains all police reports generated by our officers. The Records Manager compiles crime statistics which are tracked through the computerized records management system. These statistics are provided to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Education, the University Administration, and the general public.
All Records requests must be made in writing and a pecuniary gains statement signed. The downloadable form is available on line. Please mail or bring to CSUPD at Green Hall. A minimum of 3 business days may be necessary to process your request and produce a copy of the report.
Please fill out the Report Request Form and bring it to the Records Office at CSUPD.
- Written Reports:$7.50 which includes the first 10 pages. $0.25 per additional page.
- Recordings: $25.00
Notary Public service is available Tuesday 9am-12pm and Wednesday 9am-5pm. There is no fee for this service. Please bring photo identification.

Any sex offender that is required by court order, and who is affiliated with the University as a student, staff, or outside contractor, must register at the CSU Police Department.
