The CSU Police Department Records Office produces and maintains all police reports generated by our officers. The Records Manager compiles crime statistics which are tracked through the computerized records management system. These statistics are provided to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Education, the University Administration, and the general public.
A signed Report Request Form or Video, Audio & Photo Request Form will need to be completed in its entirety and submitted to the CSUPD Records Office. A minimum of 3 business days may be necessary to process your request and produce a copy of the report and/or recording.
All forms can be mailed, emailed, faxed or brought into the Records Office at CSUPD during regular business hours.
- Written Reports:$7.50 which includes the first 10 pages. $0.25 per additional page.
- Recordings: $25.00 for the first hour and $30.00 per hour thereafter.
Notary Public service is available Tuesday 9am-12pm and Wednesday 9am-5pm.
Due to training and meetings, please call ahead to ensure a certified notary is available.
There is no fee for this service.

Any sex offender that is required by court order, and who is affiliated with the University as a student, staff, or outside contractor, must register at the CSU Police Department in addition to residential jurisdiction by the same guidelines.
