Bicycle Services

Alternative transportation is an increasingly important aspect of the CSU community. The CSU Police Department supports this vision by promoting safety through education, enforcement, and training.

To prevent theft and increase chances of your bicycle being recovered if stolen, the university requires all bicycles to be registered with CSUPD and transportation services.
Register your bicycle now.

Battery Jump Pack

Our officers are unable to jump dead batteries directly due to risk of damage to the complex electrical system in each patrol vehicle.

If your vehicle’s battery has died, you may check out a jump pack from the front desk of the CSU Police Department with a valid ID.

The entrance to the CSUPD front desk is located on the west side of Green Hall, 750 S Meridian Ave.

VIN Certifications

If you plan to register your vehicle in Colorado, or if you are transferring ownership of your vehicles, a VIN (vehicle identification number) verification may be necessary to ensure that a vehicle is not stolen or pieced together from stolen parts. CSUPD offers VIN verifications by appointment only.

VIN certifications are $50 (cash or check) and take approximately an hour to complete. Schedule a VIN Certification.
